It's taken a while but the new Oztaboo web site is ready to Rock 'n' Roll. Demmy has worked her butt off upgrading and improving the site. (I hope her butt survives!) I think it's fair to say Oztaboo is one of the best, if not THE best looking adult web sites on the net. And now, for the very first time, it's easy to navigate. You may come across one or two puzzling features but just play around with them and everything will fall into place. Enjoy yourself, fiddle around, have fun, soon the bells, whistles and cogs will become second nature.
Oztaboo is free to join and free to use but we are accepting voluntary donations. Entirely up to you but clearly we can't run this site on air. A notice explaining what to do if you wish to donate will be uploaded shortly.
One of the things that irritates me more than most irritating things is the way big companies, such as Foxtel, Optus, Telstra and hundreds more treat their customers like shit. Almost every Australian company, when you phone, has an automatic computer voice saying, "We are experiencing longer than normal delays..." It makes no difference which day you phone or what time day or night, they are always experiencing longer than normal delays. And this goes on for ten years or more! So what to them is "normal", that's what I'd like to know.
I believe we have an automatic notice on Oztaboo saying we'll get back to you within 48 hours. I'm going to ask Demmy to change that. I have more respect for my customers than the big companies have. I will always endeavour to get back to you within twelve hours - maximum.
OK, enough for now. If I think of anything else I'll glue it to the end of this blurb.
Thank you Kelly, and I do apologise for the recent hiccups. We did most of our testing on a cloned site, but when we opened the main site for business we really got into strife. Fortunately most of the problems are behind us, but I'm sure new ones will be discovered as time goes on.
As Kelly said, some things may seem a little complex at first, but that's because this is one amazing site with heaps of features and many more to come. Please keep in mind that Kelly is here to keep you happy and I'm here to sort through the technical issues. Although I may not be able to offer a 12 hour service, I do promise to help you as best I can inside 48.
Please don't write to Kelly about anything technical. Either make a post in the appropriate forum or message me. Whatever you do, don't use the simple messenger on your profile page. If I'm online, you can bet I'm trying to solve a problem somewhere and I won't have time to chat.
